- Pay scale : As IIT pay scales.
- Qualification:
- For an Assistant Professor position, it is PhD (in computer science/Computer Engineering or an allied discipline)
Three years experience.PhDs from a well known University/Institute (e.g. IITs/IISc/TIFR/ISI in India or well known research universities across the world), A good research/academic record, the 3 years experience requirement may be waived.
An outstanding scientist/ engineer who does not have a PhD but has made significant contributions in R&D could also be considered.
Visiting Faculty
Eligibility: Currently occupying academic positions in highly reputed academic or R&D institutions, or an R&D position in industry.
